Who wouldn’t envy Pippa Middleton’s sun-soaked , half-term break in St Barts with multi-millionaire husband James and their children?

And from the turquoise seas to her washboard abs, there was no shortage of favourable comments about Pippa when pictures of their holiday emerged in recent days.

It wasn’t just the 39-year-old’s athletic figure that caught the eye, because a truly formidable range of swim wear was also on display.

Mixing bold colours and polka dots, pastels and patterns, Pippa seems to own as many two-pieces as she does regular clothes.

LADY IN SCARLET

Fresh from wowing us all with her well-toned bottom at Kate and William’s wedding a few months earlier, Pippa did it again in October 2011 when she attended the Boodles Boxing Ball in a plunging Temperley satin dress.

No surprise then that looking so ravishing in red that, four years later, she donned a bikini in the same shade and with a similar halter neckline by Melissa Odabash.

It was on display while holidaying in St Barts - as a single woman - with her mother Carole and brother James.

PIPPA GOES DOTTY

Just weeks after becoming the world’s most famous bridesmaid in 2011, Pippa took a girls’ break to Madrid where she wore this strapless ra-ra dress by Theory.

And look what Santa brought for Christmas in 2019 – a bikini in matching polka dots!

Pippa wore the two-piece by Heidi Klein on Christmas Day while on holiday in St Barts.

PEACH OF A COMBO

Let’s be honest, when we hear the word ‘peach’ and ‘Pippa’ in the same sentence, it’s not usually clothes that spring to mind.

But in 2014 she looked pretty in shimmery pink when she attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Hugo Boss.

She also looked boss when she wore this £280 halter neck bikini on her most recent holiday to St Barts by favourite designer Heidi Klein.

BLACK AND WHITE ANSWER

Before they married their respective partners, Pippa and Prince Harry always had a close – and even flirty – relationship.

In 2014 she wore a slinky mini dress by Anthropologie when she joined the family to support Harry at the Invictus Games.

Five years later she must have told the elves that she wanted a bikini to match because on her Christmas holiday to St Barts she wore one by Asceno, from their Cannes range, that looked like it could have been made with off-cuts from her Anthropologie dress.

BLUE IS THE COLOUR

In May 2019 Pippa, by then a mother to one-year-old Arthur, wore a chic Kate Spade dress in cornflower blue to the wedding of her old flame Thomas Kingston and Lady Gabriella Windsor, with matching accessories. 

And it seems those matching accessories now include a £230 skimpy Heidi Klein Stella Maris bikini, as worn last week on a boat trip in St Barts.

PIPPA IN THE PINK

For the evening reception at that same wedding, Pippa changed into a dazzling £3000 pink dress with gold detail by Erdem, a favourite designer of big sister Kate.

And if you thought Pippa only ever went to St Barts on holiday then think again. In September last year she celebrated her 40th birthday with a trip to Lake Como, Italy where she sported another pink and gold combo – this time a bikini by Heidi Klein (who else?)

WE’RE ALL WHITE (WITH BLACK EDGING)

You don’t have to worry about looking pale and pasty when you take as many holidays as Pippa.

She was tanned and glowing at a 2016 event for the British Heart Foundation, after becoming their ambassador, in a bespoke Tabitha Webb dress.

Every holidaymaker knows that white is the best colour to show off a tan.

While on her Christmas break to St Barts in 2019 Pippa gave Heidi Klein a break and wore this £200 bikini by London brand Biondi.

... OR SIMPLY WOWING IN WHITE

The dress that started it all. In April 2011 Pippa was chief bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding where her fitted Sarah Burton dress emphasised her amazing figure.

Thirteen years on and Pippa still loves to wow in white as she did on her most recent Caribbean holiday.

She wore a £190 bright white two piece with knotted detail by Vix while she played with her children at the Eden Rock hotel which, handily, is owned by her in-laws.

ORANGE PIPS IT

In June 2011 Pippa visited Wimbledon with then boyfriend Alex Loudon.

She wore an orange linen dress by Hobbs and carried an oversized Modalu ‘Pippa’ bag, designed in her honour. What does she carry in the bag? Bikinis?

GEMS IN EMERALD

For the evening reception at Kate and William’s wedding, Pippa changed into a satin emerald dress by Alice Temperley and, looking a shade or two darker than earlier in the day, might even have undergone a quick spray tan.

No spray tans needed at St Bart’s, however.

Pippa will be golden brown following her most recent jaunt, where her impressive collection of bikinis included this £190 one by Brazilian brand Vix in the same eye-catching shade.
